In this action crime suspense thriller, you meet Albert Grimes. A Detective, 1st grade, NYPD.
His plan has always been simple. It all happens during serious big-time drug busts.
Albert Grimes, as the leading officer in charge, intervenes. He takes one of the pretty arrested girls aside, then makes an offer. In exchange for dropping the charges, he supplies them a small apartment for free, and they get all the free drugs they need, all on condition he gets all the sex he wants, when he wants. The girls are young, scared shitless, and about to go into prison for a mandatory five-to-ten-year stretch. They always go for it. It’s an offer they can’t refuse. It beats years in the pen.
But having sex with the Detective making the offer, Albert Grimes? Maybe once or twice a week? Albert may be a detective, but he wasn’t all that ugly. And unlike out in the real world, no one would ever dare hassle them, not when the head of the Drug Enforcement Division was your boyfriend!
It was the deal of a lifetime.
Albert has been doing this for years. He has four flats, four girls, all aged between sixteen and twenty. These are not the first girls in these flats. His four flats have had twenty-eight girls. Twenty-four have all died, apart from the current four. Judy, aged 20, Rachel, aged 18. Alison, aged 17, and Samantha, aged 16. All the others have died at the age of twenty from a drug overdose. Unintentional? Or intentional? Murder?
Unfortunately, Albert’s plan sets a time limit on their lifetime. He only wants young girls, twenty and under, for his “Remuda.”
One of the dead was Margret Coulson, Meg. The sister of Daniel McDonald. Ex RAT operative, now working part-time for the CIA with his old RAT colleague, James Blake, Jimbo. He investigates, but the CIA needs him to tidy up some loose ends, so they do a deal. He tidies up the loose ends, and the CIA appoints a contractor to investigate the girls’ deaths and Albert Grimes.
Daniel soon gets told the brutal facts. Albert Grimes is a mass murderer. But they will never prove it. None of the dead girls could testify, and any charges that he was having sex with his four girls would fall over in any court. It would only be the word of drugged up girls, many of whom had worked as prostitutes, against the word of a respected detective. Yes, it would ruin his career, but he would still be free. That’s not what Daniel wants. He wants revenge for the murder of Meg.
Grimes has to pay. Daniel sets out to rescue the four girls.
Any plans are complicated by the CIA, who would now like the case dropped. They do not want Grimes killed on American soil. Daniel and Jimbo wonder why?
Daniel realizes Grimes has to be scared enough to make him run, and run hard out of the country. He and Jimbo dream up a scheme, and with Jimbo and Daniel working as a team, they set out to exact vengeance.
But Albert is now aware the authorities are after him. He wants revenge for having his forever scheme of young girls, drugs and money ruined.
And with a lifetime in the police force, he knows exactly what strings to pull. . .
