Scarred

Michael Kowalski meets Skyla Baily when he is running an antihacking refresher at the FBl. But Mick has a few problems, like talking to himself, mumbling, all caused when he got home one day, only two weeks before his wedding and found a note from his future wife.

Sorry Kol, I can’t go through with it.

She is gone, along with their savings for a new house. He uses his computer skills to check. She had run off to Rio with Kostya Antonoff, Kos, a gigolo, and Rose is not his first conquest. He manages to stop most of the money, but is nearly destroyed by the long and brutal legal process of trying to get it back. The constant stress from losing nearly everything he thought was precious, he develops some personal problems, like talking to himself, mumbling his distress and his therapist recommends he learn self-defense as a healing process. Ex Seals Sergeant Russell Blackman helps. Then it all goes bad again.

On his way home from his lawyers, learning of more legal delays, he is totally stressed out, mumbling and talking to himself, totally unaware, and he is accosted by drunks, beaten senseless, and his presumed lifeless body is thrown into a dumpster. A scavenger hears the lid clang, checks, and finds his body and calls the cops. During the year long, painful process to get some sort of recovery and healing from all the surgical operations, he plans for the brutal, ultimate revenge against his attackers.

The Police have written the case off. The street camera video of the event is missing and the six thugs have disappeared into thin air. He begins to use his computer skills, hacking into surveillance systems to uncover who they were, and then he finds them. He has become, in the words of Sergeant Blackman, a Whacked-Out Head-Job. He is using the Martial arts exercises to stretch all the surgical scars that now cover his body.

But FBI agent, Skyla Baily, while realizing that yes, Micky did have some problems, they were not insurmountable.

But unknown to Skyla, Mickey is working his way through the six thugs that beat him and left him for dead. With four of the six now dead, he sets out after the two remaining thugs, the ringleaders.

But the word has gone out and he now becomes the hunted.

He and Skyla begin to realize this is much more involved than just the six thugs having fun, especially when the last two he is hunting are murdered.

Together with the FBI assisting, they begin to unravel a conspiracy, one that has been running for years, successfully importing vast quantities of illicit drugs into America. It is obvious the criminals had government help, both American and Russian.

Skyla and Micky realize the criminals will stop at nothing, and the deaths of an FBI agent and a Whacked-Out Head Job computer hacker mean absolutely nothing. Less than zero.

It seems they are up against a Russian government backed conspiracy? And some of those they trusted are obviously kicking for the other side?

It now becomes a simple question;

Can Skyla and the Whacked-out Head Job survive?
