I have been writing a long time, Twenty years in fact. All technical stuff, like the procedures you have at work, the rules your company insists you must adhere to, (Rember them? Fun, huh?) and then instructions on how to fix some of those complex things from computer controlled switchgearter to controlled railways. Then training people in staying safe at work. You would think it was as boring as bat shit but it wasn’t. Traveling widely, going from one company to another, I met hundreds of truely wonderful people and they made it a blast. The down side? Living inside those big silver birds. My record? 10 crosscounttry flights in 12 days. I slept through the Christmas that started when my last flight landed at 9pm Christmas eve.

No disrespect, but one thing about flying really annoyed me. Here I was, travelling in the most advanced form of travel known to man, but the coffee was shit?

I’ m over it and now I write for real. Yes, it’s fiction, but now it means something, strange as that may seem. Enjoy. AS
